The storms moved through the Midwest this weekend. I spent "way too much" time in my basement, saving things and going through boxes. I came across this picture from the front page of The Detroit Free Press from 1984. Boy Radio was FUN!!!!

Bravos, Lee! Thanks for sharing that incredible event. That was a great day for Detroit, a memorable day for rock n roll listeners and a truly exceptional day for radio. The cammo and fist shaking oration to say nothing of the helo were killer theater but as history records that was the day you took control of the agenda and changed the game. Honored to have been a witness to your tour de force performance that day.
